Learning how to drive is, nowadays, one of the most important parts of growing up. Before my first lesson, I admit that I was a little worried - I just couldn't imagine myself being able to operate something so big and complicated as a car!
I feel very lucky to have had John Godden as my driving instructor. From day one he has offered me sound advice and listened to all of my queries, and in doing so he has eased any fears I ever had about driving a car. He is a genuine, friendly man who seems to care much for the welfare of his learners. Most importantly I feel, he has taught me 'how to drive' as opposed to 'how to pass the test' and due to that I am a much more confident driver.

I had previously had thirty or so hours with two other Instructors and failed my test when I decided to give John a Go, and can quite honestly say It was the best move of my life! I also had the disadvantage of a serious car accident that made me a very nervous pupil but john conquered all my fears, and turned me into a very competant and confident driver in no time at all.

I initially took lessons from an instructor who had little regard for punctuality - I'm glad to say that John is the complete opposite to this! In addition, he's a first-rate instructor and one who teaches in a clearly structured way. After passing my test I was fortunate to find a good first car. I've been driving for a few months now and I'm pleased to say that I haven't deviated from the way John taught me to drive.
